How did you stay motivated when you first started your fitness journey?
In the beginning, I used to make myself get dressed for my workout. After you go through all that trouble of getting ready, it's hard to back out of it. I also used to remind myself that I never regret a run. After it is all said and done, I always feel better!

What is one thing people might be surprised to know about you?
People who don’t know me well are surprised that I used to be overweight. After my daughter was born I decided that I need to make a change if I was going to keep up with my children. I started running, slowly, and eventually fell in love with it. After I made some diet changes as well, I lost over 80+ lbs and now I've done 6 marathons, countless 5ks, half marathons and 1 Half Iron Man triathlon.

How long have you been a brand ambassador for Crazy Compression?
I think about 3-4 years! I remember Crazy Compression through social media and fell in love with the variety of fun colors and designs. I tagged @crazycompression in a picture and the rest is history! A few weeks later, I was asked if I'd like to be an ambassador and I was thrilled to be a part of the team.

What is your favorite product in the Crazy Compression line?

While I love the compression runners in the summer time months, I truly love the compression socks. They let me stand out in a crowd and who doesn't love to stand out!

What do you like most about Crazy Compression?
The designs and colors are fun and unique. I get so many compliments when I wear my socks. I have worn them for all of my races and I have never once gotten a blister.

Any other thoughts to share?

To anyone afraid to start something new, remember, you just have to put one foot in front of the other and keep going until you get where you want to be. It may take some time but keep that head up and eyes forward and you can do just about anything you set your mind to. I never thought my body would carry be over 70.3 miles in one day or run 26.2 miles but I decided that I wanted to do it and didn’t stop until I got there.
